SCHOOL SPIRIT STARTS HERE
More than just a fundraiser, the Cool Schools Plunge empowers students to make a real difference in their communities by promoting inclusion, respect, and leadership. By participating, students provide year-round sports training, competitions, and health programming for Special Olympics Vermont athletes all while building empathy, school spirit, and a strong sense of social responsibility. It's a powerful way for young people to be leaders of change and inclusion in Vermont.

The Plunge can bolster team pride because of the opportunities it presents to rally together. From creative fundraisers, healthy competitions, and enthusiastic plunge attire, there are so many opportunities to show school spirit!

UCS SUPPORT
Unified Champion Schools who participate are eligible to apply for a percentage of funds raised by their school. Any funding received directly supports your Unified athletes.
COOL SCHOOLS FUNDRAISING
We know fundraising can look scary, but we are here to make it simpler for all plungers! Unlike our Community Plunge, there is no fundraising commitment for Cool Schools. However, schools must raise an average of $150 per plunger going in the water. If your schools team has raised $1,500 that means 10 people can take the plunge on plunge day. In order to earn incentives, an individual page must reflect the total of $150.
